Hello friends!

We know it has been a little while since we've given a news update, and that is because we have been hiding behind the scenes working on a ton of new stuff!  We wanted to take a step back in 2012 and look at where we were, where we've come from, and where to go next.  We've been pushing ourselves harder than ever with the new songs we are working on (we have about 8 in the works right now).  We are going to be releasing some very cool stuff in the way of merchandise, photos and videos in the meantime.  We have been working hard on getting everything together, writing, rehearsing, designing, discussing, working, working, working.  We have several related and big announcements that we will be making in the next few weeks. Please stay tuned, we are SO excited!

Photo Shoot
We'll be working with our friend Mark Petinga Photography on a new photoshoot the first weekend of May.  That means we will have new posters, website updates, and more very soon!  Lookout for those pictures to show up on our official website, facebook, etc!

Video Shoot
Also in May, we'll be starting to shoot a series of acoustic videos.  The videos will take place in unique locations and will be acoustic arrangements of previously recorded songs, as well as brand new ones!  Keep up with our facebook as we will likely be needing people to come out and be part of the live taping!

Shows
All of the above is the lead-up to our ultimate goal:  getting back on the stage with a bigger and better show than ever before.  We are busting our tails to put together a live set that we hope will blow your socks off!  We will be starting the booking process in May, and look for dates to start showing up on the calendar in early Summer.  We are so stoked to get back on stage!

Hello peoples,

It is winter.  It is cold.  We don't like the cold.  We do like free stuff.  Everyone likes free stuff.  So, here is a free download of track 12 off of our debut album, in the spirit of winter, entitled Cold Morning.  This download will only be available through January 31st!  Here is what Brian has to say about the song:

"This is definitely one of the more somber tracks of the album, but it is one of my favorites.  The slide guitar contrasts really well with the wide reverb-laden guitars, and the fretless bass smooths it all out.  The lyrics and the meaning to the song are very important to me, and one of the more open and telling songs I've written.  It is basically about coming to terms with something profoundly bad, right after it happened."

A Photographer and Film Maker Extraordinaire, Plus Video News!

Let's face it, chasing a dream is hard.  We, as an independent band making our own music, know that.  What goes on behind the scenes is a lot of "community" amongst the independent artists (of all spectrums of art), because we can all help each other and none of us have millions of expendable dollars.  One of the guys who has been instrumental in helping us is our personal friend and master of all things visual, Mark Petinga.  Mark was recently splitting time between a 9 to 5 and photography and he decided to take the dive, quit his job, and go full time in pursuit of his dream job.  We applaud him.  The guy has such talent, but the gumption to take the dive is a huge testament to his character, and he has plenty of it.

Mark has done work with us, NFL players, sports photography, Acura advertisements, wedding photography, portraits, architectural photography, etc.  He is also getting into film these days.  How do we know?  Well we are currently teamed up with him to shoot some VERY cool videos, which we are in the process of shooting.  The basic idea is a raw and acoustic or semi-acoustic setup, a location that we think is fitting, a few people around for the intimate performance, and some artistic filming.  We are so excited to release these videos to everyone.  More details will be out soon.  (hint:  we'll need people to be in attendance...watch facebook!)

Happy New Year!

We hope everyone had a safe and killer New Years!  We had an awesome time.  We've also been reflecting over the last few days about how much 2011 meant to us, how many amazing people we've met, the shows we've played, an so on.  All we can say is, what a year.

We're starting this year off by recording some brand new videos for ya.  They're gonna be a blast to make! We'll be letting you know shortly when we are going to start releasing them!

Looking back on 2011, one of the more exciting things we did was to record our first full length studio album.  We learned a ton, and are really proud of how it turned out.  We're also forever grateful, as you good folks helped to fund the record!  2011 was great, now let's make 2012 even better!  Here are some pics from out time in the studio.

This is our new website. Welcome!

Ladies and brohams,

We are pleased to launch our brand new official website! We wanted something cleaner, more flexible and more focused on delivering content to the peoples.  And so, here it is.  You'll have to give us a bit of leeway as we get the whole site up and running.  The videos and photos sections are still under construction as we prepare to really re-launch ourselves for 2012.

We've got a lot of very cool things planned for 2012.  We really want to use this year as a point to hit the reset button, and really focus on our art and getting it to speak to people.  We will announce more details shortly, but know that we are in midst the getting ready to tackle some very rockin' new things (did someone say high def audio and video acoustic takes of songs from our debut album as well as covers?).
